During the briefing at the CCS site, the akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov summed up the results of 2020 in the field of agriculture.
Over the past two years, 7 modern dairy farms have been launched in the region, thanks to which milk production increased by 5.4%. 11 more farms are under construction this year, of which 5 will be launched this month.
“Considering the fact that about 20 farms will be commissioned across the country this year, every fourth farm will be in North Kazakhstan region. Construction of 10 more farms will begin next year,” — Kumar Aksakalov said.
In general, the launch of 21 farms will make it possible to produce more than 51 thousand tons of milk annually and to employ 500 rural residents.
The akim of the region noted that thanks to modernization which took 8.6 billion tenge, “Maslodel” LLP and “Molochny Soyuz” LLP would be able to produce a total of 247 thousand tons of products per year.
Projects of beef cattle breeding are also being implemented in North Kazakhstan region. This year, a farm for 1,000 heads of the Kazakh white-headed breed is being commissioned. The construction of two feed yards for 13 thousand heads continues. The launch is scheduled for next year. Also, the construction of the second stage of a pig complex is underway, which will increase the number of heads from 50 to 100 thousand. The opening of a genetic center is planned.
