That was announced by the akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov at a briefing in the CCS.

This year, construction funding increased by 1.5 times to 18 billion tenge. More than 300 thousand square meters of housing will be commissioned by the end of the year.

“We have built 1.5 times more than three years ago.

And throughout the following years, we want to build at least 400 thousand square meters,” — the head of the region noted.

Already by now, 32 apartment buildings are under construction in the regional center. Most of them appear on the site of 1,277 old houses demolished over 3 years. The pace of this work will only increase. The region has adopted its own renovation program “Zhana Kala.”

Today, 14 houses are being built by private developers. Compares to the fact that only one house was built for private investment 3 years ago.
