NKR - Chelyabinsk: Strengthening Economic and Industrial Ties

An official regional delegation led by Gauez Nurmukhambetov is on a working visit to one of Russia's largest industrial centers, the Chelyabinsk Region. For North Kazakhstan Region, the capital of the Southern Urals is a strategic partner with which strong trade, economic, and industrial ties have been established.

On the first day of the working visit, the delegation toured the region's leading enterprises, including the UralKran machine-building company and Khlebprom, a manufacturer of long-life bakery and confectionery products.

Similar investment projects are currently underway in Subzone No. 3 of the Qyzyljar Special Economic Zone: KazCraneEngineering LLP, a lifting and handling equipment manufacturer, and BAKERTON LLP, a donut manufacturer. The full launch of these new regional production facilities is planned for this year.

"The implementation of these projects is crucial for the region's economic development." This includes creating new jobs, attracting investment, developing modern industrial infrastructure, introducing advanced technologies, and strengthening international cooperation," the akim of the region noted.
