Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev arrived in the region on a working visit

During the visit, Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov and Kanat Bozumbayev inspected the flood situation and the protective structures erected.

The region is experiencing a second wave of floods. Currently, the situation remains stable: no overflows on roads or flooded residential buildings have been reported.

The situation is under control, and all services are working diligently. To prevent ice jams, blasting operations have been carried out in advance over an area of ​​over 24,000 square meters. 1,428 pieces of equipment, 476 water pumping units, and 120 watercraft are on standby.

During the visit, they also visited the Bulaevskoye forest fire station, which was commissioned last November, and inspected its facilities. A total of 12 forestry agencies provide fire prevention, suppression, and extinguishing services in the region. Over the past three years, 65 units of specialized equipment have been purchased at a cost of 644 million tenge. An additional 107 units of specialized equipment have been purchased.
