Major investment projects and the launch of new production facilities continue in the Qyzyljar SEZ

Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov inspected the progress of projects in Subzone No. 3 of the Qyzyljar SEZ, a key industrial site in the region that has become a magnet for investors.

The successful launch of production facilities directly depends on the timely development of utility infrastructure. The area is currently equipped with the necessary utilities, and road construction is ongoing.

Construction of the ECO GLADE composting plant, implemented by the domestic investor Raduga LLP, is nearing completion. The facility will be fully automated. In July, Bakerton LLP (Moscow, Russia) plans to launch a donut production facility with a capacity of 15,000 tons per year. In October, Agrofirma Yesilskaya LLP will commission a plant producing pellets from alfalfa straw. QILU Agro LLP (China) is implementing a project to produce tractors and agricultural machinery: the first building is already completed, and construction of a second production building is planned for May. The first 10 tractors under the local QILU brand, with power ratings ranging from 100 to 500 hp, have also been assembled.

Gofropak LLP is building a paper products factory with a capacity of 16,000 tons per year as part of the TechnoEcoPark project. KazHemp LLP is constructing a wood pulp and cellulose plant with a capacity of 1,000 tons per year, scheduled for launch in June. KazCraneEngineering LLP (Chelyabinsk, Russia) is implementing a project to produce lifting and handling equipment—up to 100 units per year—with commissioning scheduled for September.

Currently, 21 participants are registered in the Qyzyljar SEZ, of which six projects have already begun operations. Another 15 investment projects worth 368.6 billion tenge are being implemented, creating approximately 4,000 permanent jobs, making a significant contribution to the region's industrial development.
