Flood monitoring continues in the region

The flood situation in the region remains stable. Akim of the region conducted aerial visual monitoring of the Kyzylzhar and Yesil districts, the city of Petropavl, and the Sergeevskoye Reservoir.

The peak of the first wave at the Sergeevskoye Reservoir occurred on April 7, when the water level reached 122 cm. It is currently receding, and currently stands at 99 cm.

In the coming days, the first wave will pass through the Yesil and Kyzylzhar districts, as well as the city of Petropavl. The city's hydroelectric power station is scheduled to fully open today, switching to transit mode. The situation is being continuously monitored.
