The international agricultural holding Tiryaki Agro is launching a large-scale project in our region

Today, the akim of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, met with Koksal Salih Yulduz, regional director of the Turkish company Tiryaki Agro.

This major international agricultural holding will build an oil extraction plant in the Qyzyljar Free Economic Zone. The project envisions the production of sunflower, rapeseed, and flaxseed oil with a capacity of up to 1,500 tons per day.

"Our region has traditionally been a leader in the production of grain and oilseed crops, including sunflower, rapeseed, and flax. The implementation of this oilseed processing project is fully consistent with our priorities for developing the processing industry. Furthermore, the project will create new jobs, increase processing capacity, and enhance the region's investment attractiveness," the akim of the region noted.
