Thousands of region residents participated in cleanup days as part of the Taza Kazakstan campaign

Large-scale cleanup days are being held across the region as part of the national environmental campaign "Taza Kazakstan." Thousands of residents—representatives of work collectives, government agencies, the older generation, and volunteers—have come out to clean streets, courtyards, parks, and squares, contributing to the cleanliness and beautification of their communities.

"Conducting cleanup days is an important step in fostering environmental awareness and a responsible attitude toward the environment. Such initiatives not only contribute to improving the sanitary conditions of areas but also unite people around a common goal—to make their home region cleaner, more comfortable, and more livable. I urge all residents of the region to actively participate in the campaign—after all, "Taza Kazakstan" begins with each of us," the head of the region noted.

Beautification work will continue throughout the three-month period. During this period, a range of activities are planned, including improvements, repairs, and infrastructure upgrades, as well as further sanitary cleanup of areas throughout the region. This includes the planting of 35,500 trees and 13,000 shrubs, the cleaning and improvement of approximately 90,000 courtyards, and 70 recreation areas.
