The event was attended by Gauez Nurmukhambetov, Akim of the region, Chairman of the Central Council of Veterans of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, and Majilis Deputy Baktykozha Izmukhambetov, as well as Abai Tasbulatov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of Veterans.

The conference summarized the work of veterans' organizations, discussed key areas for further development, and identified priorities for the coming years. Following the meeting, Yeskendir Yeleusizov, who has led the regional veterans' movement for over fifteen years, was elected Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans.

"Today, the veterans' movement is a living link between times, the embodiment of wisdom, experience, and the continuity of generations. Veterans not only carefully preserve historical memory but also actively participate in public life, passing on spiritual and moral guidelines to young people. Their authority, life's work, and sincere service to society exemplify true patriotism and civic responsibility.

Their role is especially significant at the district and village level, where veterans' councils remain a reliable source of support for the people, fostering social harmony and trust," the akim of the region noted.
