Akim of the North Kazakhstan region meets with french delegation

Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with a delegation from the French Republic, led by Sylvain Guiaugué, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, it was noted that relations between Kazakhstan and France are consistently developing based on mutual respect and trust, which contributes to strengthening interregional cooperation.

Last year, trade turnover between North Kazakhstan region and France increased 23-fold. Ferrous metal products constitute the main exports, while the region imports vehicles and agricultural machinery.

In the healthcare sector, 16 telemedicine systems have been installed with financial support from France, increasing access to medical care, especially for the rural population.

Following the meeting, the parties discussed further cooperation in trade and economic matters, the implementation of investment projects, and the exchange of experience in industry, agriculture, innovation, and culture.
