Awards, modernization, and a new car: how Soltüstık Qazaqstan celebrated its 105th anniversary

Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov took part in the scientific and practical conference "Magzhannan Bastalqan Zhol", dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the Soltüstık Qazaqstan newspaper. Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev also participated in the event.

During the conference, current issues in the development of journalism and the role of print media in modern society were discussed. It was noted that Soltüstık Qazaqstan, with a history spanning more than a century, remains an important source of information and a reflection of regional life, continuing the best traditions of national journalism.

A number of journalists who have made significant contributions to the development of the industry were awarded medals and letters of gratitude.

The akim of the region also announced that, as part of his support for the editorial staff, a major renovation of the building housing the publication will be undertaken. Furthermore, for the anniversary, the regional governor presented the staff with a new company car, which will improve journalists' mobility and the speed of their coverage.
