57 years together: An example of a strong family from the North Kazakhstan Region

The fourth day of the Nauryznama decade is dedicated to Family Day – Shanyrak Kunі. This holiday symbolizes the core values of Kazakhstani society: a strong family, the continuity of generations, respect for elders, and care for the young.

In the North Kazakhstan Region, there are many families who, through their hard work, wisdom, and unity, serve as role models for others. One such family is the Sagandykov family.

As part of Shanyrak Kunі, the akim of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, visited the large family of Sapargali aga and Aiman apa. The couple have been together for 57 years. Over these years, they have raised nine children, and today their large and close-knit family includes 27 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Sapargali Aga dedicated his entire life to agriculture, and Aiman Apa worked for many years as an accountant. For the dignified upbringing of her children and her contribution to strengthening family values, Aiman Apa was awarded the Order of Maternal Glory, first and second class.

The akim of the region noted that such families are the pillars of society and true examples of preserving traditional values.

"Thanks to such dynasties, the bonds between generations are strengthened, the best traditions of the people are preserved, and the most important life principles—respect, hard work, and love for one's native land—are passed on," the akim of the region said.
