Key vectors for regional development have been identified

Chaired by Gauez Nurmukhambetov, Akim of the region, an expanded meeting of the Akimat was held to summarize the socioeconomic development results for 2025 and identify key objectives for the upcoming period.

"As the President noted at the expanded Government meeting on February 10 of this year, our priority is the sustainable development of the region and the achievement of tangible results for residents. These guidelines set the direction for all management decisions and future initiatives. Last year, the region demonstrated growth and development in all key economic sectors. Work in this area will continue. Our strategic goal is to create a sustainable and balanced economic model in which resources are directed to the sectors with the highest returns. Our priorities include actively attracting investment, creating favorable conditions for business, improving the effectiveness of government support, and ensuring high-quality long-term economic growth," akim of the region noted.

Particular attention is being paid to the development of human capital and digitalization. An IT ecosystem has been established in the region, aimed at enhancing the population's digital competencies and creating equal opportunities for young people. Implementing these initiatives will help reduce the digital divide and strengthen the region's professional potential.

Following the meeting, specific objectives were set for tangible improvements in the lives of the region's residents, enhancing the quality of education and healthcare, developing infrastructure, and increasing comfort and well-being.
