Yeraly Togzhanov, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, arrived in the region on a working visit

During the visit, a working group chaired by him inspected the implementation of the President's directive to ensure 100% access to drinking water.

✔️ In fulfillment of the President's directive to ensure 100% access to drinking water, comprehensive and systematic work is being carried out in the region. This includes both the construction of new water supply facilities and the modernization of existing infrastructure.

✔️ With the support of the Government, over 74 billion tenge was allocated from all funding sources for water supply development last year. Work was carried out in 140 villages, 88 of which received access to drinking water for the first time, while water supply services were improved in the remaining settlements.

✔️ Along with the construction of new facilities, systematic work is underway to improve and modernize existing water supply systems. Implementation of 34 projects was initiated in 2025, of which 13 have already been completed. This year, 17 more projects are planned for the modernization of existing water supply facilities.
