An Adaptation Center for Minors has reopened in Petropavl

After a five-year hiatus, the center has resumed operations. This year, it moved to a new building following renovations. Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov toured the renovated center.

"The center is designed for the temporary accommodation of children aged 3 to 18 who have found themselves in difficult life situations and require state care — until their future is determined. During this period, it is important to ensure the children's safety, care, and opportunities for full development," the akim of the region noted.

The center offers all the necessary conditions for housing, education, leisure, and recreation, as well as medical and psychological support. The regional governor also presented the keys to a new vehicle for the center.
