This year, the theme was "Forming and Strengthening Kazakhstan's Identity: The Consolidating Role of Leaders." Participants included heads of government agencies, members of parliament, ethnocultural associations of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, representatives of the clergy, and public figures from the region.
"Local leaders must be champions of national values, role models of civic responsibility, foster an atmosphere of respect and tolerance within their teams, and systematically improve the living conditions of citizens. The key objective is to ensure quality, transparency, accountability, and sustainable development in the region," the head of the region noted.
The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan plays a special role in shaping and strengthening Kazakhstan's identity. Representatives of 87 ethnic groups and 11 religious faiths live in the region, requiring systematic efforts to strengthen harmony and develop intercultural dialogue. Joint efforts, open dialogue, and the exchange of experiences contribute to the preservation of intergenerational continuity, the enhancement of spirituality and patriotism, and the strengthening of peace, harmony, and unity in the country.
