The akim of the region paid a working visit to the Ualikhanov District. This is his sixth visit to the region.
For many years, the issue of road infrastructure has remained particularly pressing here. For the first time in 30 years, comprehensive road repairs have begun. Work is underway on the most problematic sections. Specifically:
A modern outpatient clinic combined with an inpatient department, capable of handling 250 visits per shift, is ready to receive patients in the village of Kishkenekol. As part of the project, the inpatient department underwent a major renovation. The medical facility will begin full operation in March 2026, after completing all necessary licensing procedures.
Another IT center has opened in the district center. This is the second modern hub created on the basis of the SKO Hub, which will serve as a platform for developing digital skills, supporting startup projects, and training young people in modern IT technologies. The center will contribute to the development of human resources and the development of the district's digital economy.
The district is fully supplied with centralized water supply. The Baiterek substation is undergoing major repairs, the first in 67 years. Once completed, 17 settlements with a population of over 4,000 will have a stable and uninterrupted power supply. During his working visit, the regional governor visited a number of renovated social facilities and met with agricultural producers and residents of the district. He discussed current issues related to infrastructure development, support for the agricultural sector, and improving the quality of life for residents.
Developed infrastructure, new social facilities, and accessible healthcare and educational services create favorable living and working conditions. Life in the village is becoming more comfortable and attractive, as evidenced by the growing number of migrants and settlers. More than 100 people have moved to the district this year, and another 100 are planning to move early next year.
