Today, Akim of the NKR, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, presented a report on the region's development to deputies of the regional maslikhat.
All ongoing work is aimed at achieving the objectives outlined by the Head of State and further improving the well-being of our residents.
The region is consistently strengthening its agricultural sector and industrial potential, and active efforts to attract investment continue. Particular attention is being paid to improving living conditions for residents: road repair and construction, ensuring high-quality water supply, expanding the housing stock, and developing socially significant facilities.
Significant work has been completed in the infrastructure sector: 76 km of utility lines have been replaced, three substations have been reconstructed, 1,500 km of electrical lines and 13 km of heating lines have been repaired, and a record 74 billion tenge has been allocated for water supply development. Repair work covers 1,100 km of roads. For the first time in ten years, comprehensive repairs were completed on the Petropavl-Zhezkazgan and Mamlyut-Kostanay sections.
In the social sphere, major school renovations were completed, the facilities of educational institutions were updated, and construction of kindergartens and other social facilities continues.
Innovative technologies and artificial intelligence are being actively implemented, from agriculture to education.
Following the report, deputies raised issues affecting the key social aspects of the region's development. Such discussions allow us to refine priorities and strengthen work in the most significant areas.
