149 rural akims of the North Kazakhstan region participated in the "Rural Akims Dialogue Platform" forum with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The head of state outlined key rural development objectives and emphasized the importance of akims' work on the ground.
Head of State: "An akim is, first and foremost, a civil servant who directly interacts with society. The state of affairs in rural areas is a matter of strategic importance for Kazakhstan. After all, the roots of our people are in the village. Strong villages are the key to the well-being and prosperity of the entire country. Therefore, the requirements for rural akims and the responsibilities assigned to them are always of particular importance."
The forum also included panel sessions where akims were able to directly address questions to members of the Government and members of Parliament. Such platforms allow akims to share experiences, jointly seek solutions, and implement initiatives that make life in rural areas more comfortable and efficient.
There are currently 2,334 rural akims in our country, including 186 in the North Kazakhstan Region. Each of them is on the front lines of daily interaction with the public and addresses issues that directly impact the quality of life in rural areas.
