A ceremonial meeting dedicated to Agricultural Workers' Day was held. Gauez Nurmukhambetov, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, congratulated rural workers on their professional holiday.
"Thanks to the dedication of our farmers, our region remains the country's food backbone, setting the direction for the development of the entire industry. Farms in Northern Kazakhstan account for almost a quarter of Kazakhstan's grain and oilseed production, as well as more than a tenth of its milk and egg production. We are ending this year with agricultural records. Thanks to unprecedented government support and the tireless work of our workers, we have harvested over 6.5 million tons of grain, with a yield of 21.4 centners per hectare. We have also achieved a significant harvest of 1.2 million tons of oilseeds. We are particularly proud of our large-scale dairy farming projects. Mega-farms are being built in the region today, and modern innovative technologies are being implemented," the akim of the region noted.
For the second year in a row, the contributions of our fellow countrymen have deservedly received high state recognition. This year, the President awarded the prestigious title "Kazakstan Yenbek Yerі" to machine operator Murat Kenesovich Karazhumanov. The honorary title "Kazakhstan Agrarlyk Salasynyn Yenbek Sіnіrgen Kairatkerі" was awarded to Serik Tatybayevich Malayev.
Also today, the akim of the region recognized the region's best farmers in a ceremony.
