As part of the President's directive to improve the management efficiency of professional football clubs, Qyzyljar FC is transitioning to a private development model. Kazakh entrepreneur Sergey Kan has become the club's new investor.
The investor has been granted the club's sporting rights, including the Qyzyljar brand, the right to participate in the Premier League, existing contracts, and the club's facilities and equipment. This model will allow for the implementation of modern management methods, enhance financial stability, and ensure the club's long-term development.
The investor is committed to investing at least 1 billion tenge annually in the club's development. Public funding will be gradually reduced and completely phased out within three years. This smooth transition will maintain the stability of the club's sporting results and allow the club to build an independent, sustainable infrastructure. At the same time, the transfer of the Karasai stadium to the club's trust management is being discussed in conjunction with the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region. This will create a unified development ecosystem: the stadium, training fields, academy, and youth development center will operate in a connected model.
For the region, this means not only improved conditions for the main team but also new opportunities for children and youth. Training will be based on an academic model focused on individual development, modern training methodology, and the development of professional skills.
Particular attention will be paid to the development of local athletes. The newly established Qyzyljar Academy will become a center for identifying and supporting talented young people from the North Kazakhstan Region. Young players will be able to train in a professional environment, gain match practice with youth and reserve teams, and the best will be able to compete for a place in the Premier League main team. This will provide a real boost to the social ladder for young athletes in the region, from children's sections to the national team level.
