This year, the regional forestry enterprises' equipment and facilities were upgraded at a cost of approximately 4 billion tenge.

To improve operational efficiency and improve working conditions for employees, the region acquired 27 small forest firefighting systems for the first time. In addition, 29 fire engines, 51 wheeled tractors, 19 drones, 180 air ducts, and 60 motorcycles were purchased for forest protection.

"Twelve forestry enterprises are engaged in forest protection, conservation, and restoration work in the region, managing 550,000 hectares of forest land. I am confident that this equipment upgrade will improve forestry services' preparedness for the fire season and strengthen the region's forest protection and conservation system," the head of region noted.
