At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, an official and business delegation from the North Kazakhstan region visited Kazan

The visit was supported by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation, Dauren Abayev, and the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Kazan, Yerlan Iskakov.

During the official meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov, prospects for expanding industrial, investment, and innovation cooperation between our regions were discussed, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

"This meeting was an important step in strengthening interregional ties and created the foundation for the implementation of specific joint projects. The experience and achievements of the Republic of Tatarstan are an important reference point for us. I am confident that the agreements reached will provide new impetus for sustainable development, innovative growth, and prosperity in our regions, and will also contribute to strengthening the friendship and partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia," the akim of the region noted.
