NKR demonstrates steady economic growth following nine-month results

A meeting of the akimat, chaired by Gauez Nurmukhambetov, the regional akimat, reviewed the results of the region's socioeconomic development during the reporting period.

The region's economy grew by 12.6%.

Steady growth was recorded in key sectors:

▪️ Construction - +27.3%

▪️ Trade - +12.0%

▪️ Manufacturing - +19.3%

▪️ Agriculture - +10.1%

▪️ Housing commissioning - +2.8%

▪️ Investments - +10.4%

The akim of the region noted that while the planned indicators have been achieved following the nine-month results, the pace of work cannot be reduced. It is essential to ensure the government's plan for 6.5% economic growth is met. Work in all areas must proceed at a rapid pace, ensuring monthly growth in each sector.

The meeting also discussed the development of the healthcare system and the implementation of digital technologies. This area is under special monitoring.

In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, elements of digitalization are being introduced in all areas of the region, including healthcare.

Over the past two years, 60 medical facilities have been modernized in the region, and over 600 units of modern equipment have been purchased.

In addition, repairs have been completed at 32 institutions, and 46 new healthcare facilities have been built in rural areas.

"We are strengthening our material and technical base, but we need to intensify our efforts in this area. It is important to more actively engage the region's agricultural sector in the process. There are positive examples of farmers investing their own funds in rural development, including healthcare. By the end of this year, 21 vehicles will be purchased, but this is not enough. We must completely meet the need for ambulance transport by the end of next year," the head of the region noted. Since the start of the heating season, 28 fires have been reported in the region. The primary cause is non-compliance with fire safety regulations. The akim of the region has instructed responsible agencies to strengthen preventative measures and take additional measures to ensure public safety.
