All stages of bypass canal construction in Petropavl are nearing completion

Construction of the bypass canal in the village of Zarechny, which began earlier this year, is entering its final stage. The canal is 4.8 kilometers long. The spring floods of 2025 demonstrated its effectiveness.

Today, construction of three culverts is nearing completion. Two of them will provide unimpeded access to summer cottage communities, and another is designed to service a power line. The project's implementation will restore the drainage system and prevent surface water accumulation.

Also in September, summer cottagers from the "Pearl Spring" gardening association personally met with the akim of the region to request improvements to the access roads. Restoration work is currently underway and will be completed by November 10.
