The akim of the region visited the Zhambyl district on a working visit

This year, eight road repair projects of all categories are being implemented in the district. Medium-term repairs on the 63-kilometer Mamlyutka-Kostanay highway are in their final stages. To ensure road surface integrity and improve traffic control, he ordered the installation of an automated weight and dimension control system.

"Particular attention is being paid to the development of roadside services. It is gratifying to see how local entrepreneurs are contributing to the region's development. The Zhussupov family is completing the construction of a modern roadside service facility – a good example of a family business working for the benefit of the district," the akim of the region noted.

Zhambyl farms are already in the home stretch – they will complete the harvesting campaign in the coming days. The total area is 312,500 hectares, with an average yield of 20.7 centners per hectare.

"First and foremost, this is the result of the dedicated work of our machine operators, combine harvesters, and agronomists." The state provides support to the agricultural sector, but agricultural producers themselves must be active participants in the life of their villages — supporting people, infrastructure, and creating jobs,” the akim of the region said.

This year, a number of significant projects have been implemented in the Zhambyl district: the Presnovsky Social Services Center was renovated, major repairs were carried out at the Kozhabergen Zhyrau Secondary School, the community center, and the art school, an ice rink, which is used as a soccer field in the summer, was opened, and the central square was renovated.

As part of the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the district, new stores, supermarkets, and hotels are opening. This not only improves the quality of life but also creates new jobs for villagers.

As part of the national environmental campaign "Taza Kazakstan," more than 10,000 seedlings were planted on an area of 1 hectare. "The Zhambyl district is the birthplace of prominent figures in Kazakh culture and literature: Kozhabergen zhyrau, Gabit Musirepov, Sabit Mukanov, Safuan Shaimerdenov, and Ivan Shukhov. Given its cultural significance, I have instructed that the establishment of a local history museum in the district be explored," the head of the region noted.
