As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Akim of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, and the akims of rural districts to discuss the key areas of the President's Address, "Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Solutions through Digital Transformation".
Particular attention was paid to the role of rural areas in the country's digitalization process. The President emphasized that infrastructure development and the introduction of modern technologies in the agro-industrial complex are the foundation for sustainable economic growth and improved quality of life for citizens.
North Kazakhstan region is an agricultural region with 590 rural settlements. Of these, more than 300 have been identified as promising. Over 210,000 people live here, accounting for 82% of the region's total rural population.
Thanks to significant government support, large-scale efforts are underway in rural areas to improve living conditions: new housing is being built, schools, medical facilities, and sports facilities are being opened. At the same time, modern technologies are being actively introduced into the agro-industrial complex. This not only increases agricultural efficiency but also strengthens villages and creates new jobs.
Efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for rural residents will continue within the framework of the objectives outlined by the Head of State.
