Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov paid a working visit to the North Kazakhstan region

During the visit, he and the Akim of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, met with agricultural producers, reviewed the harvest campaign, and inspected the construction of a mega-farm in the Kyzylzhar district.

The region has demonstrated some of the best agricultural growth rates in the country: in the first eight months of 2025, gross output amounted to 255.7 billion tenge. This growth was achieved thanks to modern technology and unprecedented government support.

At the direction of the Head of State, the region has implemented large-scale diversification of its agricultural sector: flax, rapeseed, sunflower, and lentil crops have been increased. Oilseed crop acreage has reached 1 million hectares — the highest in the country.

This year's harvest is nearing completion. To date, farmers have harvested 5.6 million tons of grain, representing 95.3% of the planned harvest. The average yield is 20 centners per hectare. Individual farms, such as Peasant Partnership "Zenchenko i K", Vagulinskoye LLP, and Nogaybay LLP, have yielded up to 50 centners per hectare.

The North Kazakhstan region is also a leader in livestock development. There are 110 dairy farms in the region, 42 of which were built in the last three years. The region's successful experience is being replicated throughout the country.

Major investment projects are ongoing. These include a mega-farm for 8,000 head of cattle run by Peasant Partnership "Zenchenko i K", a 10,000-head dairy complex run by SK Agro-2050 LLP, with a 100-cow Karusel system — the largest in Central Asia — as well as digital farms run by Vozvyshenka SK LLP and Atameken Agro Korneyevka LLP.

Thanks to effective government support and the introduction of advanced technologies, the region is confidently strengthening its position as a key agricultural hub in Kazakhstan.
