The first multi-story residential building in the Kopai microdistrict will be completed by the end of October

The Kopai microdistrict is rapidly developing: modern multi-story residential buildings are being erected on the sites of dilapidated and hazardous buildings. During the early stages of the project, difficulties arose, including delays in demolition of old housing, construction deadlines postponements, and poor work by some contractors, who delayed utility work. As a result, those on the waiting list waited more than three years for housing.

Currently, all construction processes have stabilized and are proceeding as planned. The first building in the new residential district will be handed over to future residents by the end of October of this year. Landscaping of the surrounding area is currently being completed.

Construction is being financed through bond financing. Apartments will be sold through Otbasy Bank JSC, with priority distribution: 70% of apartments will go to socially vulnerable groups, 20% of which will go to orphans, and 30% will go to those on the waiting list. By the end of this year, six multi-story residential buildings are planned for completion in the Kopai microdistrict. Construction of a number of social facilities is also planned.
