In honor of the Day of Older Persons, the akim of the region met with veterans

As part of events dedicated to the Day of Older Persons, Gauez Nurmukhambetov held a meeting with respected veterans of the region – people who bear the history and destiny of our region.

"Many of them, over the years, selflessly worked for the good of the Motherland, laying the foundation for the achievements we are proud of today. And even now, in their well-deserved retirement, they continue to lead an active social life, maintaining a vibrant connection between generations and remaining a true example for young people," the akim of the region noted on social media.

During the meeting, the participants visited the Magzhan Center – a landmark spiritual space reflecting the rich cultural heritage and shared values of the Turkic world. The akim of the region briefed the veterans on the region's current socioeconomic situation, key projects, and future plans.
