On September 15, the Government approved a plan covering eight key areas. The main goal is to accelerate economic development, implement digital technologies, and improve quality of life. Priorities for implementation in the region are outlined for each area.
"North Kazakhstan region has traditionally been a leading agricultural region. Today, our goal is to maintain the pace of diversification and improve the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex. In fulfillment of the Head of State's instruction to double gross agricultural output, investment projects are being implemented in livestock farming and deep processing," the head of the region noted.
🔹Strengthening the Investment Climate
Economic development is impossible without creating favorable conditions for investors. Fifty-one projects from North Kazakhstan region were included in the National Pool of Investment Projects. The special economic zone is actively developing. With government support, two new subzones have been opened – in the Taiynsha district and the G. Musirepov district.
🔹 Digitalization and artificial intelligence. This is a key area that affects all sectors.
A Digitalization Office has been established in the region, a Digital Development Strategy for the North Kazakhstan region is being developed, and an implementation roadmap has been prepared. Work in this area will be accelerated.
Preparations for the upcoming heating season were also addressed.
In accordance with the President's instructions, systematic work is underway to ensure reliable and uninterrupted preparation of heat supply facilities. Work at CHPP-2 has been brought into compliance with established requirements – the plant is ready for stable operation during the winter. Boiler room preparations have been completed throughout the region, and socially significant facilities are ready for the start of the heating season.
The necessary coal reserves for social institutions have been accumulated, and the population has a 74% fuel supply.
The head of the region instructed all district and city akims to personally monitor preparations for the heating season.
