Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov reported to the President on the progress of the harvest campaign in the North Kazakhstan region

President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev chaired a meeting on the progress of the harvest campaign in the regions.

🔹 In 2025, the harvested area amounted to 4.3 million hectares. 1.13 million hectares, or 40% of the grain and legume crop area, were threshed. Approximately 2 million tons of grain were harvested, with an average yield of 16.5 centners per hectare.

✅ Farmers received unprecedented support. The volume of preferential financing for the agricultural sector reached a record 150 billion tenge.

To increase yields, 340,000 tons of fertilizer were purchased, 52,500 tons of elite seeds were sown, and the variety renewal rate reached 11.2%.

🔹 68,600 tons of subsidized diesel fuel, as well as 14,100 tons of fuel for drying grain and oilseeds, have been allocated for autumn field work.

🔹 The region's storage capacity is 7 million tons. 500,000 tons of new-harvest grain have already been stored.

🔹 The President has instructed to intensify the implementation of artificial intelligence. This work is already underway in the region.

The agricultural sector is actively using digital technologies and AI at all stages of production. These include: GPS navigation and autopilot for agricultural machinery, drones and digital field maps, animal health monitoring systems, and software-based management of feeding, reproduction, and microclimate.
