Today, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Crime Prevention under the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region was held under the leadership of Gauez Nurmukhambetov, Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region.
🔸 The agenda included two key issues:
🔹 Progress of ideological and educational work to prevent crime;
🔹 Prevention of crime among and against minors, as well as the protection of children's rights.
In his Address to the People of Kazakhstan, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev emphasized: "Law and order are the unshakable foundation of our statehood. To ingrain this principle in society, all relevant bodies must develop a common vision and a unified position."
Systematic ideological and educational work is being carried out in the region. A legal culture, civic responsibility, and respect for the law are being fostered through educational institutions, workforces, and information resources.
🔸The "People's Lawyer" campaign, which provides free legal consultations to residents of the region, has become a significant element of legal education. Legal information centers, established in libraries, are making a significant contribution to improving the legal literacy of the population.
🔸Particular attention is being paid to young people.
The North Kazakhstan Region has become one of the first in the country to actively implement modern technologies using artificial intelligence.
To prevent juvenile delinquency, the "Protector AI" project is being implemented. The system has been installed in 14 schools to date, and will be implemented in 24 more by the end of the year.
In addition, a Psychological Support Center is operating, as well as Telegram bots providing anonymous and emergency assistance to teenagers. These measures are already yielding positive results — a decrease in delinquency, especially among minors, is being observed. Following the meeting, the akim of the region issued the following instructions: strengthen the work of interdepartmental commissions in the districts, improve the coordination of ideological and legal work at all levels, ensure continuous monitoring of the effectiveness of preventive measures with an emphasis on practical results, and continue the implementation and active use of modern technologies in the field of crime prevention.
