During the visit, he reviewed the progress of the harvest campaign, the implementation of infrastructure projects, and measures to improve the quality of life in rural areas.
The harvest campaign in the region is in full swing, and this year's harvest is impressive. In the Akkayin district, 23% of the harvest has already been collected from a total of 153,600 hectares of cultivated land. All eight grain elevators in the district are ready to receive grain, and the process is proceeding smoothly.
"Sustainable rural development is impossible without the participation of socially responsible businesses. Leaders of the agricultural sector — G.G. Zenchenko, B.A. Shaimerdenov, E.K. Zikirin, V.V. Gerd, and others — are making a real contribution to the development of their villages: they create jobs, implement social projects, and provide support to the population. As the Head of State noted, "Every successful citizen should care for their home region." Such examples serve as a benchmark for the entire region. Rural communities are home to blue-collar workers — mechanics, construction workers, teachers, doctors, and farmers. Their daily work is the foundation for sustainable development not only in the district but throughout the entire region. Supporting and creating decent living and working conditions for these people remains our priority," the akim of the region noted.
In the village of Smirnovo, construction of a modern hockey rink is ongoing. The new sports facility will create conditions for active youth recreation and the development of mass sports in the village. Furthermore, the local school is undergoing major renovations.
Particular attention is paid to supporting the older generation. The district operates a Longevity Center, where seniors can lead an active lifestyle, socialize, engage in creative activities, and engage in sports.
The akim of the region met with the center's participants and commended their zest for life and energy.
"Such projects are especially important for rural areas, where older people need to feel cared for and cared for," he emphasized.
At the end of his visit, Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with district residents and listened to their questions, suggestions, and initiatives. All requests were taken into account.
