The akim of the region inspected the ZIKSTO modernization project

High-tech industrial robots from the Austrian company IGM are currently being installed; they will be used in rolling stock assembly. Construction of a new workshop, which will house the full production cycle of freight rolling stock, is scheduled for completion by the end of the year.

With the new capacity, the company will increase production to 3,000 cars per year. More than 300 new jobs will be created. Meanwhile, outdated buildings with a total area of ​​60,000 square meters are being demolished, and modern production workshops will be built in their place.

Demand for products is consistently high, and production volumes are growing annually. In the first half of this year, 712 flatcars, 12 baggage and mail cars, 2 electric trains, and 44 passenger cars were produced.

Furthermore, plans are underway to launch a pilot project for the production of business-class passenger cars.
