At the meeting of the akimat of the North Kazakhstan region, issues related to harvesting and forage procurement were discussed.
In pursuance of the instructions of the Head of State, the region is consistently implementing a course on diversification of crop areas. This will strengthen the export potential of the agricultural sector and increase the profitability of agricultural producers.
The harvesting area is 4.3 million hectares. Today, 90% of grain crops are in good condition. The level of variety renewal has reached 11.2%, and modern water-saving technologies are being actively introduced.
329 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers have been applied. 7 thousand grain harvesters, including 4 thousand high-performance ones, will be used in the harvest. The readiness of agricultural machinery is 100%. 58.2 thousand tons of subsidized diesel fuel were allocated.
The capacity of all 45 elevators and storage tanks of agricultural formations is 6.9 million tons. Today, all elevators of the region are ready.
In addition, 1 million tons of hay and 302 thousand tons of haylage have been prepared.
