The National Commission for Women works in the NKR

In the North Kazakhstan region, a working trip of members of the National Commission for Women and Family Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan takes place.

As part of the visit, the delegation visited a number of social and medical institutions of the city of Petropavl. The members of the Commission visited the CSE on the REM "City Polyclinic No. 1", where special attention was paid to issues of reproductive health protection for adolescents and youth, as well as the prevention of early pregnancies among minors.

Also, as part of the trip, a seminar was held on the topic: "Uniting efforts — we maintain the reproductive health of adolescents and youth." The event was attended by representatives of central and local state bodies, non-governmental organizations, members of the regional commission under the akimat of the region, as well as specialists in the fields of health and education. Participants discussed urgent problems and prospects for interagency interaction in matters of protecting the reproductive health of the young generation. 

A working trip is aimed at strengthening cooperation, the exchange of experience in the implementation of family and gender policy, as well as the development of initiatives to support motherhood and childhood.
