Akim of the NKR congratulated on the City Day on the central square

Today, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the City Day was held on the central square with the participation of Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov.

"Petropavl is our home, a city with a rich history, unique architecture and hard-working, sincere people. Here are our memories, achievements, hopes. Today we are rightfully proud of what our city is becoming: modern, cozy, alive," the akim of the region noted.

In honor of the holiday, a ceremony of awarding titles was held. Honorary citizens of the North Kazakhstan region became: General Director of Peasant Partnership "Zenchenko i K" Gennady Zenchenko, Professor Zarkyn Taishybay and veteran of labor Viktor Li. The title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Petropavl" was awarded to Professor Andrey Solodovnik, veterans of labor Amangeldi Kenzheguzinov and Sara Tasemenova. Their work, knowledge and dedication have become an important part of the history and development of our city and region.

The Akim of the North Kazakhstan region thanked everyone who contributes to the development of the city — builders, teachers, doctors, entrepreneurs, community members, volunteers and youth.
