The Botai monument was opened in Petropavl

Today, at the entrance to the city, a ceremonial opening of a unique archaeological monument dedicated to the Botai culture took place.

It is important to note that it was in the territory of Northern Kazakhstan that about 6 thousand years ago the horse was domesticated for the first time in the world. And the Botai settlement is one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the world level.

The new monument is a work of art reflecting the significance of the Botai culture in the history of Kazakhstan and all mankind. The project is aimed at perpetuating the heritage of ancestors and increasing interest in the history of the native land.
