Kozybayev University in the world ranking for the first time

🌍 A historic event for North Kazakhstan region: Kozybayev University entered the QS World University Rankings 2026 for the first time — one of the most prestigious world rankings! Out of 8.5 thousand universities worldwide, only 1.5 thousand were included in the final list.

🎓 Among them is M. Kozybayev NKU, which took a position in the 1401+ group. This ranking includes 20 universities in Kazakhstan, and it is especially gratifying to see our university on the list. This is recognition of the quality, strategic development and the enormous work of the university staff.

✅️This became possible thanks to government support, the development of international partnerships with universities in the USA, Europe, China, participation in global forums and scientific collaborations, the growth of academic mobility, strengthening the regional academic and scientific ecosystem, and a focus on the quality of education and research.

🏗 An important contribution was the construction of an educational and laboratory building and modern dormitories, which strengthened the university's infrastructure base. "Inclusion in the global ranking is a new starting point for even more ambitious growth and international recognition. Congratulations to the students, teachers and partners on this achievement!" the head of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov on social networks wrote.
