Ecological sports festival was held in NKR as part of the program "Taza Kazakstan"

On a sunny June day, the sports and ecological festival Clear-FEST was held on the shoreline of Lake Pestroye, organized as part of the national program "Taza Kazakstan" initiated by the Head of State. The main goal of the event was not just to clean up, but also to attract the attention of young people to environmental issues through active actions and teamwork.

From the very morning, 7 teams gathered near the cafe "Lana" — schoolchildren, students and volunteers. In total, more than fifty young participants, each of whom was ready not only to collect garbage, but also to share their environmental knowledge. The festival became a kind of symbiosis of physical activity and environmental education: competitive spirit, teamwork and questions on environmental topics made the day eventful and truly useful. "The Clear-FEST festival is not just a cleanup, but a way to attract young people to a conscious attitude towards nature," emphasized the chairperson of the public association "JE SKO Headquarters" Dayana Baimukanova. "We want to show that environmental campaigns can be active, interesting and team-based. I am very pleased with the enthusiasm of the children, their involvement. Such events form responsibility and care for the world around us from a young age."

Each team received a diploma for participation, and the winners received cups for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. In addition, all participants were awarded personal certificates — as recognition of their contribution to the cleanliness of the environment.

Shiyan Ilya, a volunteer and one of the Clear-FEST participants, shared his impressions:

"It was great to take part in such an event! We not only cleaned up the trash, but also worked as a real team, competed. I want there to be more such campaigns - it is useful both for nature and for us!" The festival is organized by the Public Association "JE SKO Headquarters" together with the Department of Youth Initiatives of the Center for Public Development and Information. According to the head of the department, Anastasia Volkova, Clear-FEST has become an important point of contact between young people and environmental issues:

"Our goal was not only to clean the coastal zone, but also to unite the children around an important idea — to protect nature. The festival format helps to combine sports, ecology and team spirit, and this is exactly what inspires young people!"

The festival is just one step in a series of events to popularize an ecological lifestyle. The organizers encourage people to start small — with cleanliness around them, because it is from such actions that a great contribution to the common cause is made.

Clear-FEST has shown that caring for nature can be inspiring, dynamic and truly unifying.
