In NKR, police officers, cadets and military personnel who participated in flood control measures were awarded

Today, the Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov awarded the personnel of the North Kazakhstan region police, cadets of the National Guard Academy and servicemen of military unit 6637 — those who were the first to come to the aid of residents in the most difficult moments of the flood. For their courage, fortitude and dedication, they were awarded medals, badges, certificates of honor and letters of gratitude.

"Around the clock, in difficult conditions, they strengthened dams, evacuated people, maintained public order and ensured safety. Their contribution to the protection of the population is truly priceless. I sincerely thank everyone for their loyalty to the oath and devotion to the Motherland!" the head of the region wrote.
