The Akkaiyn District actively develops the road network

The network of public roads in the Akkaiyn District of the North Kazakhstan Region is 386 kilometers. Of these, 111 kilometers are roads of national significance, 162 kilometers are regional roads, and another 113.7 kilometers are roads of district significance.

Over the past three years, 37.2 kilometers of road surface have been repaired in the district. Particular attention is paid to the condition of roads within populated areas. Thus, medium repairs were carried out on Suvorov and Gennady Zenchenko Streets in the village of Smirnovo. The work was carried out by the contractor, KommunStroyService LLC.

This year, road works will continue: current repairs are planned to cover 12 rural districts of the district. Problem areas were identified based on citizens' requests, which indicates the importance of feedback and participation of residents in the development of infrastructure. The country's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has repeatedly emphasized that the road network is the "circulatory system" of economic and social life. In this context, the development and modernization of transport infrastructure remain priority tasks at both the national and regional levels. The work has already begun: last week, road workers began repairs in the village of Smirnovo. Medium road repairs have been completed on Suvorov Street - another step towards improving the quality of life of villagers and ensuring safe movement.
