Nauryz is one of the most ancient holidays on the Earth. It has been celebrated as a spring holiday and the nature renewal for more than five thousand years by many peoples, including in our Republic. March is the beginning of a new day. Revival of nature, revival of life, cleanup of intentions and awakening of goodness.

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-JomartTokayev has noted the development of the celebrating concept of Nauryz Meiramy and the content enrichment of the spring holiday in the article "Independence is beyond everything". The main goal of the Nauryz holiday is to strengthen peace and friendship in Kazakhstan, preserve national identity, popularize family values and form a respectful attitude towards the environment.

In the organizations of technical and vocational education of the region, the Nauryz holiday is held from March 14 to 23. The decade of celebrating Nauryz is dedicated to a specific topic, which has an important meaning.

As a part of the celebration of Nauryz Meiramy colleges created a festive atmosphere — the working day began with the sound of Kazakh national instruments, dishes of national cuisine were offered as a treat. During the festive decade, national costumes were worn as a symbol of the continuity of generations and traditions. Charity events were held to help the poor and needy. Intellectual competitions, olympiads on traditions and customs were held.
