Today the medal Қазақстанның еңбек сiңiрген ұстазы» («Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan») was awarded to the director of secondary school №1 Kurlenya Alexander Yurievich. The award was presented by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov. Alexander Yurievich was the initiator of many teaching and educational projects, the last of which was the introduction of robotics into the program, where students of the school reached the republican level in a short period, outstripping their competitors, including students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School.
