A ROUND TABLE WAS HELD ON THE BASIS OF THE CHAMBER OF ENTREPRENEURS WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVES

On July 25, 2024, a round table was held on the basis of NCE "Atameken" as part of the preventive information and explanatory work of the Department of Religious Affairs of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region, with the support of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region. The event was attended by representatives of large businesses and law enforcement agencies of the region.
The speakers of the event were representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and law enforcement agencies: A. Kozhabaev is the head of the Center for Analysis and Development of Interfaith Relations; N. Nurmagambet – Chief specialist of the UDR of the Akimat of North Kazakhstan region; E. Murzagulov - Head of the department of the UPE DP of the North Kazakhstan Region; R. Nasirov – Assistant prosecutor of the North Kazakhstan region.
The following topics were discussed at the event: "Clarification of legislation in the field of religions", "Criminal liability for financing terrorism", "Signs of non-traditional religious movements".
The purpose of this round table is to prevent the spread of destructive religious ideas in society, to prevent religious extremism by increasing religious literacy among entrepreneurs, to carry out explanatory work in accordance with state policy in the religious sphere and to prevent the financing of extremist organizations.
