Information tour

On March 26-28, the Department of Religious Affairs, together with the Center for Analysis and Development of Interfaith Relations, organized an on-site information tour to the districts: Ualikhanov, Akzhar and Tayynshinsky. The head of the DRA R.Kasenova, employees of CADIR N.Bekov and A.Serikov conducted a set of information and explanatory events: meetings, conversations, questionnaires, training seminars, methodological and advisory assistance was also provided to specialists of internal policy departments, members of district IRGs. Among the target groups covered by the events are probation officers and their wards, college students, Candace, religious youth, representatives of sports and youth organizations, akims of rural districts. The following topics were brought to the attention of the participants: secular principles of the state, the main positions of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of religion, insecurity and futility of obtaining theological education abroad, the risks of obtaining religious knowledge from unverified sources, proselytizing activities and Internet recruitment, etc. The speakers provided comprehensive explanations to all the questions that arose.
