REPUBLICAN INFORMATION AND EXPLANATORY GROUP IN THE NORTH KAZAKHSTAN REGION

On October 17-18, 2022, within the framework of organizing and conducting information and explanatory work in the regions, with the assistance of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region, members of the republican information and explanatory group are conducting a set of preventive and educational measures on religious issues.

The complex of explanatory measures is aimed at the formation of traditional spiritual and moral values of the Kazakh society, prevention of the ideology of religious extremism and terrorism, as well as clarification of the main directions of state policy in the religious sphere.

The preventive measures are attended by members of the Republican Information and Explanatory Group under the Ministry of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leading experts in the field of religion: Shakimova L. S. - expert psychologist, Honorary Professor of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the National Security Committee; Adilbaeva Sh. A. – Islamic scholar, PhD Professor of the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture "Nur-Mubarak"; Sinyakov O. V. – religious scholar of the Center for the Study of Problems of Religion in Astana; Baizhigitov D. T. – theologian of the NGO "Nasihat Consulting and Rehabilitation Center".

Today, on October 17, under the auspices of the 30th anniversary of the Day of Spiritual Consent, a forum "Kazakhstan - the territory of Consent" was organized with the participation of spiritual leaders of the region, representatives of law enforcement and special bodies of the region, departments of internal policy of districts and Petropavlovsk, specialists involved in preventive work. The event is aimed at promoting spiritual and moral values, strengthening a tolerant society where people treat each other with respect, accept and comply with current laws, generally accepted norms and rules of conduct, customs, culture.

On the same day, a number of preventive measures were carried out in various target groups: a training seminar with the participation of law enforcement and special agencies, during which topical methods of working with narrow target groups were considered; a preventive and explanatory meeting with students of the regional specialized boarding school for children gifted in sports, individual conversations with convicted women.
