Information and explanatory work

On July 19 of this year, the Department of Religious Affairs, in cooperation with the Department for Countering Extremism of the North Kazakhstan Police Department, organized a meeting with employees of regional and city mosques as part of information and explanatory work.

The event addressed issues related to the current legislation in the religious sphere, measures of administrative and criminal impact for committing offenses in the religious sphere.

The listeners were informed about the specifics of the concept of «missionary activity», as well as the disposition of Article 490 Part 3 «Carrying out missionary activities without registration».
