Meeting of the Club of leaders of religious associations of the North Kazakhstan region

On the eve of the Nauryz Meiram holiday, a meeting of the Club of Leaders of Religious Associations of the North Kazakhstan region was held. The meeting of the Club was held under the auspices of the upcoming 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

Opening the meeting, the head of the Department of Religious Affairs R.Kasenova noted the creative role of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in the interreligious dialogue and its significance for Kazakhstan.

The leaders of the religious associations "Church of Evangelical Christians "Liberation" Arsentiev V.A. and "Evangelical Christian Church "Agape" Polishchuk N.L. told about the ongoing work of the religious association in terms of socio-spiritual development of citizens.

The head of the Department for the Prevention of Religious Extremism and Rehabilitation Work, S.O. Meymanova, acquainted the club members with the amendments and additions made to the legislation in the field of religious activity, in terms of the provision of public services.

Then the Club members discussed the Message of the Head of State dated 03/16/2022 and unanimously supported all the reforms announced.

At the end of the meeting, R. Kasenova indicated that this year 2022 was declared the Year of the Child and called on the heads of religious associations of the region to take an active part in charity events and actions. The club members discussed issues, exchanged views and shared plans for the coming year.
